Bee-spoke Fabric

Design for fabric to be used for home goods including tea-towels, oven gloves, aprons, and cushions. The brief specified that the design must showcase elements specific to the homeowners to reflect their individual style and interests.

The final design included several motifs to represent their pets, a polyhedral dice for their joint love of gaming, and floral aspects of plants specifically found in and around the property. The primary feature was taken directly from their iconic bee door knocker on the front door which is much loved by all who visit. The colours for the fabric were swatched directly from the paint colours used in the property and toned appropriately to ensure correct matches.
